Druva Inc. is a privately-held software company based in Sunnyvale, California. The company provides SaaS-based data protection, recovery and management products.
I have been working for Druva for 7 months so far, and had lots of interesting things to try out. Here are some work samples in terms of visual and motion design that has been made while working with the UX and UI development team of Druva.
Our team won this time! And it was just my first experience of participating.
Around 64 teams participated in this year’s hackathon for various categories, from marketing strategy to building the product more secure, better interface, better functionality and many more potential problem solving ideas.
I was fortunate enough to be part of amazing team members with having really good skill sets in their specific domain, UX design - UI development - Backend- Product management - Visual design etc.
To introduce Gamification in an enterprise app, that no other competitors have done before!
As per our understanding, cloud backup tasks are becoming boring and mundane for the users. There’s no element of motivation in that process. Through gamification we have tried to make the interface look more visually appealing and energetic so that the overall experience will become more intuitive, plus users also feel a bit challenged and motivated and there are steps involved to reach the end goal. The badges and points system has been also introduced and there can be a whole system at the forum level to use the earned experience levels and points into something more reliable and keeping the users more engaged with the product.
In just 24 hours, there was a lot to achieve and create and present to the judges in a demo format. From my part, I had to create and work on refreshing visual designs and graphic assets. Here below are the final screens of the UI in static images (for showcasing purpose)
